Marina Yakutova, CEO of Development Corporation of Kamchatka JSC., held talks with a group of entrepreneurs from the Republic of Korea who visited the peninsula. Ahead of the meeting with the CEO of Kocon – Korea Co. LLC. In Seok Lee, the CEO of Y.S.W Cambodia Kuon Tae Kim and HMS Architects top manager Inchul Son became expressed interest in the possible investment of foreign capital in rationing in the regional hospitality industry.

The first contracts of Development Corporation of Kamchatka with Kocon – Korea Co. LLC took place in the pre-pandemic period. In 2022, Corporation and the Korean company signed a memorandum of understanding.
The current visit of In Seok Lee and his colleagues was aimed at restoring the dialogue with Corporation, interrupted due to covid and sanctions restrictions, and considering promising areas of investment cooperation with the region. Among the projects that Korean entrepreneurs can start implementing after the restoration of full-scale cooperation between our countries, the guests named the construction of a golf club with extensive sports and hotel infrastructure, as well as Natural Eco-land hotel & spa complex. The volume of investments may reach 350 million US dollars.
Marina Yakutova told the guests about the measures of state support that are provided to investment projects of foreign entrepreneurs when they receive the status of a resident of Advanced Special Economic Zone (ASEZ). The CEO of Corporation accompanied foreign entrepreneurs during their visit to the investments’ site of Zelenovskye Ozerki touristic recreation complex.
" In Seok Lee and his colleagues presented sketches of a golf club and a spa hotel. They have original, very interesting architectural forms, which are actually associated with the peculiarities of Kamchatka landscapes. The sketches are made by Inchul Son. He is a professional architect, as well as a co–owner of a well-known cosmetic company, whose products are also presented on Russian market," Marina Yakutova said.
