Kamchatskiy Greenhouse Complex: work is on schedule 28.08.2023

Dmitry Shashikashvili, General Director of Kamchatka TC LLC announced that on June 15 of this year, the active construction of the Kamchatka greenhouse complex was started. By the first decade of August, the foundation of the service center has been completed, similar work is underway on the sites where greenhouses are to be set up, the construction of q modular complex of social and household purposes for construction workers in process. In the near future, the component structures, equipment of Russian and foreign production will be delivered. Today, all work is being carried out on schedule. The commissioning of the greenhouse complex is scheduled for the fourth quarter of next year.

Kamchatka TC is building the first modern enterprise on the peninsula for growing vegetables in closed ground with a year-round production cycle. The work unfolded at the site of Zelenovskiye Ozerki agro-industrial complex. The planned investment in the project, which has the status of a resident of the advanced special economic zone (ASEZ), is about 2.8 billion rubles. It is planned to create about a hundred new jobs.

Alexandra Rechkunova, a representative of the Development Corporation of Kamchatka, confirms that about four years ago Corporation accepted for support the project initiated by the Greenhouses of Regions group of companies. the high economic and social significance of the project is evident, its implementation will provide the consumer market of the region with tomatoes and cucumbers of high quality and at an affordable price. Within the framework of its powers, the Corporation has solved a number of important issues for the implementation of the project.

Namely, Corporation, in close contact with the Far East Development Corporation, assisted the investor initiative in obtaining the status of an ASEZ resident, contributed to the establishment of effective investor communication with executive authorities at the regional and municipal levels. A lot of problems that require competent settlement arose when solving the tasks of providing an emerging agro-industrial enterprise with energy and water resources and searching for a site for the implementation of the project.


Dmitry Shashikashvili also said that all complexes created by the group of companies use greenhouses of the fifth generation. They allow to grow vegetables of high quality, with excellent taste and ecological characteristics. Biotechnologies are widely used to protect plants from pests. Specially bred bumblebees are engaged in plants pollination.
