An agreement on the establishment of a CEDAR GRASS eco-hotel chain in Kamchatka has been signed 05.10.2023

On the final day of the Eastern Economic Forum, Governor of the Kamchatka Territory Vladimir Solodov and CEO of Kedr Kamchatka LLC Artem Kropachev signed an agreement on the implementation of the investment project. A subsidiary of a large Russian company is starting to create a CEDAR GRASS eco-hotel chain in the region.

Marina Yakutova, General Director of Development Corporation of Kamchatka, took part in an Agreement Signing Ceremony as well as the preceding negotiations.

"The Corporation accompanies an infrastructure project initiated by Nikolai Ulyanov, well-known Russian entrepreneur and investor, founder of LLC "Cedar". At recent meeting at the Corporation, he noted productive cooperation with us. At the same time, given that the land issue was successfully resolved and there were no bureaucratic delays, Nikolay Ulyanov announced the readiness of his company to put into operation the first stage of an eco-hotel in the Yelizovskiy municipal district in the next tourist season. The signing of an agreement on the implementation of an investment project with the head of the region gives the green light for the business initiative," Marina Yakutova said.

The Corporation assisted the entrepreneur in choosing and obtaining land plots, contributed to the establishment of productive interaction with the authorities of the region and municipalities of the territory of project’s implementation. At the moment, representatives of the investor and the Corporation are preparing documents for obtaining the resident status of advanced special economic zone, consultations are underway with resource supplying organizations.

The eco-hotel, planned to be created in the Yelizovsky district, corresponds to the level of three stars plus and above in terms of comfort. On an area of 50 hectares, it is necessary to place from 50 to 70 houses with autonomous eco-friendly life support system. The project involves the creation of a restaurant and several sports grounds. The helipad and car parking will also be part of the hotel.

At the signing ceremony of the agreement with Kedr Kamchatka LLC Vladimir Solodov told about the hotel built by the company in the village of Teriberka, Murmansk region, which is very popular with tourists. Its construction was supervised by Artem Kropachev, who now has to create a chain of hotels in Kamchatka.

The signed agreement provides for the implementation of the investment project in 2026. The volume of capital investments at this stage will amount to about 350 million rubles.
