Irina Untilova, the Chairman of the Legislative Assembly of the Kamchatka Territory
Irina Untilova laid special emphasis on the fact that it is important to maintain a balance between the interests of the business community and the development strategy of the region while applying support measures.
In a complex international context, field and working meetings with representatives of the business community help to correctly determine the vector of support for SMEs. Particular attention is paid to the industries affected by the sanctions of the "collective West", such as agribusiness and tourism.
A comfortable business environment is provided, among other things, due to the current preferential regimes – Advanced Special Economic Zone and Free Port Vladivostok, whose residents receive additional benefits.
Legislative measures are also devoted to attract new investments. The conditions for investment have become more understandable and accessible, thanks to the adopted single laws on investment and taxes. The draft law "On Northern import" by Irina Yarovaya will not only provide additional benefits to businesses operating in the north of the region, but also contributes to improving the quality of life in remote areas of Kamchatka.
