Development corporation of Kamchatka and the regional branch of the Association of Lawyers of Russia form a system of legal support for business 25.09.2023

“With the help of our partners – the regional branch of the Association of Lawyers of Russia, soon we hope to form another line of assistance in our large list of measures to support entrepreneurs whose investment projects are supported by the Development Corporation of Kamchatka. We are talking about several areas of legal assistance to business,” said Marina Yakutova, General Director of the Development Corporation of Kamchatka, after completing negotiations with Georgy Ilyin, Chairman of the Arbitration Court of the Kamchatka Territory, retired, Honored Lawyer of the Russian Federation. He is also the Chairman of the Executive Committee of the Kamchatka Regional branch of the Association of Lawyers of Russia.

During the meeting with the General Director of the Development Corporation of Kamchatka, Georgy Ilyin spoke about the goals of the all-Russia public organization represented by the judge. The tasks solved by the Association of Lawyers of Russia include countering corruption, providing legal assistance to various segments of Russian society, including the business community, and settling disputes in a pre-trial manner.

During the negotiations held at the Development Corporation of Kamchatka, the parties noted that representatives of small and medium-sized businesses often need complex legal advice, as the legal conflicts they face in business activities in some cases are of a non-standard nature and require legal recommendations of a high expert level. According to Georgy Ilyin, residents of the Kamchatka branch of the Association have such qualifications. They are able to give qualified legal advice to businesses.

Also, the regional division of the Association of Lawyers of Russia can assist entrepreneurs in resolving disputes and conflicts arising within the community through mediation procedures. There are several certified mediation specialists among the residents of the regional branch of the Association.

At the same time, the Development Corporation of Kamchatka assumes the role of a qualified intermediary.
During the negotiations, the parties agreed to form a platform for providing legal assistance to entrepreneurs as part of the Corporation support of investment projects.

Currently, 87 business initiatives are being supported by the Corporation. The total volume of investments in them exceeds 55 billion rubles.
